I'll admit, my eyes filled with tears a few times while writing this. I wish the writers devoted a little more time to their storyline. It's one of the few friendships I would have liked to watch develop instead of just hearing about it.

Amen. I think whether people ship Kinn (as a romantic couple) or Furt (as a brotherly pairing), people who watched S1 and S2 generally do wish there were far more scenes, because Chris and Cory work so phenomenally well together.

Thank you for this quick little reaction fic. You captured Kurt's head-space well, and I loved how you alluded to the fact that Finn and Kurt are very adept at non-verbal communication. I also enjoyed how you indicated that Burt would be happy to fund Kurt's trip home.

They're very adult here, and you capture the shifts in their personalities since the end of S3 very well.

It really was flush with canon. I'm usually, well. Apt to write more explicit fic between Finn and Kurt. But you showed how strong platonic bonds can be, here.

I'm really glad it came across like that! I tend to write more Finn/Kurt romance versus platonic relationships, so this was new territory for me.
