Awesome! Though I think their names were the same this go-round, I can totally see Kate/Katya becoming a diva on her own. I also feel TOTALLY SURE she is a gay icon.

(I wasn't sure about the names, because I know in yours there was both Laura and Irina and I panicked and then just let it ride.)

The idea was that Irina Derevko was her real name, but it was Russian, and so in the Cold War would've been suspect, so the record label made her change her name to the all-American "Laura". But there are so many ways to work it! It kind of is a fun universe. Maybe I will do one more.

I see Katya at the gay pride parade now.

I figured that was the logic, and thought Katya and Elena might be too Russian as well. This universe is hella fun, and I absolutely would enjoy more.

LOL, I see Katya dressing like Liza Minnelli, trailing around in sequins all fabulous.
