The darkness holds her close like a jealous lover and she longs every tentative lick of the silver moonlight like betrayal. These moments are filled with infinite calmness even if the ugly face of fear is never far away. There are sounds, some fascinating, some threatening, mixing with the kind of deep silence humans have long forgotten.
