This is lovely. So perceptive and beautifully written.

I MISS ZAF NOW. And that bit about Jo got me, because well, *sob*

*blushes* EEE! Oh I'm so glad you like it, I was a bit worried this being my first Spooks fic and all.

I miss Zaf too, he was my favourite. I must admit I couldn't bring myself to watch S6 yet (my Spooks watching chronology is very weird as I'm from Hungary and only saw S3 and 4 on BBC Prime some years ago, and now S5 and 7 and parts of 8 on the internet). *sighs* *hugs Zaf*

Yes, I was very saddened and frustrated by Zaf's departure and the way they handled it. But, then S7 came along, and sort of made up for it with it's sheer epic brilliance, lol. :)

My chronology of the show is rather mixed up as well, seeing as I'm in Canada and can't stand that they stick commercials in (hence cutting out bits of the show), so end up watching them on the internet ( I get to see them sooner that way anyhow). I never really watched S1 or 2, and have since gone back to watch them!
