Jenny’s always been a bit of a man-eater, if she wanted a guy she got him.
Nick’s the first to slip through her fingers, his unsettling ways driving her mad - with anger or lust she’s never quite sure - and some part of her still clings to that misguided image of Nick buying toy dinosaurs for their children.
The same part of her, the one that believes that the path her mother and sister have travelled is the right one, simply doesn’t see it coming until she’s pushed up against the wall.
But afterwards, kissing Sarah’s collarbone, she can’t stop smiling.
