Besides that, wonderful and haunting as always. Very interesting to see how Klaus views Elijah and how he thinks he is different in that matter.

I think with every fic you write in this universe, you get closer to your own story (away from VD, which is beautiful) and it flows so naturally, it feels like I have seen and been there.

You know, I had my doubts about it. I never really cared for Jenna and as a devoted member of Team Elijah, I had my troubles to adapt. But you really pull it off nicely, it doesn't mean I like the characters more/less but I like the possibilities you offer. It's really (to me) a story of character development, which is one of the reason, if not the biggest, I like vampire stories - the endless exploration of character, bringing it to perfection.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy you like this and especially that you think I'm getting Jenna's voice right. I think the reason she features so heavily in this is because I know that if I want any interaction between her and Klaus I have to write it myself. lol

You know, it keeps astonishing me how Elena can be that hateful to me when Katherine is the female character that intrigues me most. Bc at first in S1 I thought that maybe Nina was just not a good enough actress but that's rubbish, after seeing her create Katherine (and create all those different faces of Katherine in time and situation) I know that can't be the case. So I'm blaming the writers now for making Elena simply not!Katherine. Also, I think the fact that ultimately there were 3 possible ideas of how to keep her alive kind of took the threat out of it. No, wait 4, if you count the slim chances of the ring as well as the elixir, Damon's blood and John's sacrifice. Oh and actually 5 if you think about Jeremy coming back from the dead. So basically only the great female characters can stay permanently dead on this show (Rose, Lexi, Jenna, Bree
