Pushing away Cuddy is surprisingly easy, he’s not sure what he’d do with her without the constant bickering about Vicodin and lawsuits anyway. The team (or what’s left of it) will be okay, the barely-veiled hunger in Foreman’s eyes spoke volumes, and House is glad, unsure why he even cares. He doesn’t say goodbye to Cameron either, not wanting to run into her husband.
“Ready?”
House’s lips twitch into a small smile as he gets into the car.
“That was fun,” he grins at Wilson, his last link to an old life he really hopes he’ll stop missing one day.
