So, I really thought I had alluded to this "secret costume" a bit more, but in rereading my journal yesterday (and a little bit Friday), I only found this post mentioning it

I don't know how that reminds me but it does - you're going to Otakon this year, right? I definitely need to come find you even if it's just for a bit. Of course you're also completely welcome to come visit me at the apartment (it's 30 minutes from the con) but I know that whenever I invite people they usually say they're too busy because there's so much going on at the con, so I understand if you can't. If you CAN though.. I should tell you, there's chocolate fondue and strawberries, a pool and pool table, and we'll be pummelling a pinata.

Yes, my apartment is happy fun zone time. :D

She's not coming to Otakon, cause her wedding is the weekend before and she just doesn't have the money for it. ;_;

Thank you! <3 The outfit is an "Austrian drindl", if you missed the original post, and I got it off of eBay. (The adult one, anyway. The little-girl one, my grandmother brought back from Austria from one of their trips out there.) Both Mom and Grandpa loved the photos, Grandpa hung his up in the upstairs living room.

Thank you so much! :) Yeah, even the woman who was taking the picture (who I obviously had to explain everything to, and give her the "reference picture" and who was SO patient working with me, trying to get the pose just right) thought it was adorable, and was like, "I hope my daughter does something like this for me when she grows up!"
