I very recently got into Bones and I've been steadily (and rapidly) working my way through the seasons and just started season 6 today and I. DO. NOT. LIKE. HANNAH. Yeah sure, objectively I suppose she's a nice person, but I don't like her because she gets between my OTP:-( Every time I see her and Booth together I want to gag - Booth and Bones

I know what you mean. I hated Hannah in the beginning until I realized that it shouldn't be her whom I hate. It should be Booth. Because he moved on (although he had every right to) and fell in love with Hannah.
I can only tell you that it gets better without spoiling you because I suppose you are not into spoilers, are you? ;)

Be patient and see the good things in this development.

Ha ha - I am TOTALLY into spoilers which is why I already know that he proposes to her and she rejects him (YAY!!! - Should I feel guilty for my unholy glee there?!) and that things are looking up for episode 22 - what I want to know is how long do I have to wait before I get Booth and Brennan back again the way they were?;-(

And I know that logically I should hate Booth but I just can't - I love him too much and he really was hurt by Brennan but I just don't want Brennan to be his consolation prize - I want it to be clear that he never stopped loving her despite Hannah - can you tell me whether that has been made clear at all?

You shouldn't feel guilty because I think that's what everyone was like when that happened.
In my opinion that happened pretty quick after Hannah rejected him. I can't remember to be honest but to this point right now they are like they used to be plus they are aware of their feelings. Do you know everything that has happened so far? I really don't want to spoil you..

I can't but I don't think that has been made clear and somehow I think that that will never really happen because I cannot see Booth saying that Hannah actually was his consolation prize, this woulnd't be Booth in my opinion. If that happened already then I failed all the way. :D

He he - I think that's all I need to know for now - I've got all the eps up to 21 so I will push through to the sunshine;-) And I guess that even if Booth never overtly makes that clear, we the fans know the truth!! He's loved Brennan for years and I do not believe that he could get over that in 7 months, however great Hannah was *cough, gag*. Tbh, I think that Booth's rush to make things serious with Hannah is actually a sign that what he has with her is a rebound relationship, which can feel very real at the time but ultimately would not last. Apart from the fact that he is so clearly better suited to Brennan - at least what they have goes so much farther beyond a simple physical attraction (which, no offence to Hannah, but I think that is the main basis of their relationship) - Booth and Bones are best friends (or were at any rate) - that is so much more of a foundation to build a relationship on. Anyway, I'm going to shut up now because I'm rambling, but yeah. Hannah has rebound written all over her imo!

I HATED Hannah. I'm not sure if it's the not-so-great acting or just the fact that she reminds me of people irl that I really dislike.

It IS an awesome show, isn't it?! Just watched The Doctor in the Photo last night and it broke. my. heart. I actually had tears in my eyes at the end when Brennan broke down and said she had missed her chance - honestly, I do hope that they get back to being the way they were again soon! I miss the camaraderie, chemistry and tension so thick you could cut it with a butter knife of seasons 4 and 5:-(
