Damn the Asians!

Everyone, stop asking me when I'm leaving. I have no idea. This is through no fault of my own. I have been constant contact with my connection abroad in Seoul, sending documents promptly and answering questions...however, I've been waiting for two weeks now with no word from the only person I know that I can get information from. I say get some money and head over there anyway. Then walk into the office when you get there. They'll have to figure out what to do with you. Or fly somewhere half way for a few days. I mean, why put your life on hold for someone else? They don't really care when you leave--you do. So do something about it! You are strong, capable and confidant, so go kick their tiny Korean asses! ;)

You could... ask the Korean embassy if your visa paperwork is done. Or at least ask them what paperwork that you need to bring. Because you may already have it.

I seem to remember that I needed to bring a letter of acceptance from my school, and a passport, and then fill out a form at the Japanese consulate in Seattle.

Then, they put some stickers in your passport. It is a stamp good for XX years, that allows you to get a visa upon entry to the country.

The visa itself (in my case) is just a tiny sticker that the guy at Japanese customs put in my passport.
