I hadn't realized you've been working at SI for six years already -- time flies! (Actually, I was like: "Beijing Olympics was two years ago?!? How'd that happen?")

Your post really resonates with me, because I also stumbled in AAFE by accident and even now don't really think I want to stay in philanthropy (i.e., fundraising) forever. I've just been floating along until recently, when I started thinking about where I should go next. Except when I think about that, I realized I have no idea where I want to head next.

I'm watching Nadal receive his fifth French Open cup and that man is just 24. Things start feeling a bit weird when many more high accomplishers are younger than you ;p
