Talk about a sight for sore eyes... Ben had decided to make a quick stop at the Pump for a double-shot espresso to help him stay awake (too many late nights in a row...) when he saw Meredith sitting there. Finding her look of utter boredom amusing, the young werewolf strode over to her, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his slacks.

"You know, most people would find merely living in this town enough to cure common boredom..."

When Mere heard someone talk to her, she looked up. When she saw who it was, she smiled at him. "Most people haven't been surrounded by it their entire lives. Even constant peril gets a bit boring after a while."

She looked at the seat in front of her. "Got time to join me?"

Silently, he thought to himself that Perdy probably wouldnt be so enthusiastic about it... but still... Meredith was merely a friend.

"Not a great deal of time, granted... I promised Bretton I'd open for him today. Just wanted to grab something to keep me awake."

Her grin got wider when he said that he always has time for friends. "Then grab a chair, friend o' mine." She took a sip from her overly sugared beverage. What, like she was supposed to just drink plain black coffee? That's no fun at all.

"Opening up tonight? Sounds like a lot of fun. I'd about about two more cups to that order if I were you, then."
