"Ooh, look who finally broke out of the hospital! You might wanna consider checking yourself back in when you're done. It's no picnic in here!" She had to raise her voice a little, but that was okay.
Still, she couldn't help but grin. Dashing across the mats in her stockinged feet, she skidded to a stop and hugged Satsu, very gently.
"It's so good to see you out and around!"

"Thanks, sweetie. I'd rather be back, training with the others, but at least I get to work out with you for a while. Kinda takes the sting outta feeling like a loser."
She kissed Dot cutely on the forehead, winking to her.

Dot smiled. "And, it's not really me you'll be working with. I am small and puny. I think, even now, that you'll need to work with someone else that can challenge you. Plus I'm not licenced and I don't want to go to jail!"

Satsu grinned sheepishly and shook Jocelyn's hand.
"So what's on the agenda?"

Dear sweet god... even at this hour, Dr. McDonald was cheery and happy. Someone once sarcastically said that a bullet couldn't take that smile off her face, and days like this? It was hard to argue that.
"Jocelyn! Thank you so much for letting me help out here. Due to the severity of her injury, it's probably good to have a doctor onhand, at least for the first few days."

Satsu couldn't help but frown a little. She knew she was still too stitched up and sore to be able to throw punches or kicks, so this was going to have to be very basic stretching and exercising.
"Doc? What should I do first?"

The young doctor looked to Jocelyn, not wanting to step on anyone's toes.

She settled for an occasional pat of Satsu's shoulder, concentrating instead on moral support. She could do that, at least.
