"First, we stop by the Orange Julius. That's where the mall map is," Franco said cheerfully. "And then we can plot out our strategy by making one contiguous path to all of our potential destinations."
"Sounds like a plan," Tamara said, starting to wind her way through people to the Orange Julius. "Thanks for coming with me today."
She pulled her list out of her pocket to check while they were walking. "Crap, I need to stop making friends... this is going to take forever. Who is on your list?"
"You, Vladimir, Smedley, Gerald, and Glertner," Franco summarized from memory. "Which means a stop at the bookstore, the technology shop, the pet store, the lingerie store, and the shoe store, for me."
"Do I want to know who gets the lingerie?" Tamara asked. None of those were good possibilities.
"I've got Gerald, Tony, Carmen, Devil, Kya, William, You, Smed, Vlad, Eddie, and something to send to my mom and dad back home..."
She pondered the stores Franco was planning on. "Okay, bookstore good for Carmen and Tony- pet store for Devil, yeah I need to go there too... lingerie maybe. Gerald might like that if I pick up something sexy... technology for Smed and Eddie... I can stop at one of those cheese stores to send a basket to my folks... crap, what the heck do you get for vampires? I don't know what William and Vlad would like."
