Dot was taking advantage of a rare quiet period to hole up in the library with a gardening magazine. She waved to Pru, then gathered up her stuff and sat down next to her. "Hi," she said, careful not to talk too loudly. "How are you? I haven't seen you lately."
Anna wasn't a fan of school, and right now, she wanted a break from the cheerleaders. They were insisting on making her social, and she really didn't want to be bothered.
She had a paper due in a class, so, this would work, right? Cherleaders were afraid of the library.
Then she noticed Prudence, who she hadn't talked to much since last school year.
"Hello Anna, how are you?" Prudence asked, giving the other girl a friendly smile. She hadn't seen too much of her lately, but she remembered spending a lot of time in the slayer's company last year.
The Japanese SIT was figuring on a boring trip to the library, just to pick up a couple of books she'd been wanting to read. So imagine her surprise when she saw the gorgeous girl who'd helped welcome her when she first arrived in Sunnydale.
Noting Pru was talking to a few people already, Satsu decided to make her presence known in a unique, if not altogether subtle way. She sang it.
"Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play, Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day, The sun is up, the sky is blue, It's beautiful and so are you, Dear Prudence won't you come out to play...?"
She looked at the girl with a playful smile on her lips.
"Satsu, I think you dropped your sledgehammer," Dot chimed in, rolling her eyes. "You're about five seconds from slobbering at her feet, at this rate." She grinned.
"That would be nice," Prudence said. It didn't sound too scary - just going to the Espresso Pump and hanging out. She'd done that with Tara plenty of times.
Dot smiled sweetly, and waved with a cheerful wiggle of her fingers. "Sorry, Satsu! It's just, well, you're coming on a little strong. You don't want to blow the whole deal before it gets started, do you? And, you know, there's no need for name-calling. That could escalate!"

"Hello again," she said. "How have you been liking Sunnydale?"

Her smile turned cutely lopsided as she clasped her hands behind her back and rocked on her heels lightly.

She wrinkled up her nose and indicated the list she'd been writing. "I just need to figure out the rest of my messed-up life."

"Dot..." she leaned in and whispered to the girl. "See... if I was a guy? You would currently be called a cockblock. So... yeah."
Satsu stood back straight again, and grinned at Prudence.
"If you're not busy tonight, maybe we could meet up at the Espresso Pump and just, I dunno... get to know each other better?"

"What time?"

"I'll be there at 7. See you tonight."
She gave Pru the cutest wink she could muster, then playfully hip-bumped Dot out of the way as she walked past.
