What: phone call , and stuff at the house
One of the good things about being assigned to Sunnydale (one of the only good things, as far as Malone was concerned) was that his older brother Gregory was already working here. Gregory, who had left home at the age of 18 with the strange woman he married, had kept in touch mostly through phone calls and postcards that had trickled down in frequency over the years. Something had changed in Gregory when he turned 18, and then within a few short months Yansa had shown up and taken him away. And that was that. But now they were all in the same town, and Malone supposed that this was some sort of a good thing, that he might see his brother again in person.
Still, he was nervous. "Should I call him?" he asked Wolf, for about the fifteenth time. He'd been finding excuses not to since they'd arrived, because as much as he wanted to, he was also afraid.
Wolf's solution to the problem was to dial the phone and hand it back to him, ringing.
"Hello?" a woman's voice answered, and Malone nearly hung up. But Wolf was giving him The Look, so he just asked for Gregory. "Just a minute," she said.
He nervously twisted the phone cord while he waited.
