Laird took the microphone, and nodded to his bandmates. "Alright, let's do this."
On cue, bandmembers began playing, as Laird began to sing... and surprisingly, they were actually on key and in tune, even with the substitute keyboardist.
"We wrote this one just for you guys tonight. Here is... Night of the Requiem.
With a ear-to-ear grin and a happy whoop, Chloe came running in and hugged Meredith from behind, waving at Tina. As usual before a show, Chloe tossed aside her fashion sense for a more comfy outfit to drum in: black bicycle shorts, a black sports bra, black fingerless gloves, and a tight ponytail for her usually wavy hair

The younger Summers sister walked into the Sunset Club, feeling not unlike someone walking onto an alien world for the first time. She'd been a Bronze girl pretty much from the day she was allowed to go out on her own, and had heard about how Sunset was mostly where pouty goth kids with pale skin and thick makeup went.
She was pleasantly surprised to see, when she walked in, that while people wore a lot of black, and were.. um.. goth-y?.... it wasn't as bad as she'd envisioned in her mind. She'd at least dressed decently for the night: a long, black dressed that hugged her burdgeoning curves, black elbow-length gloves, and heavier-than-normal black eyeliner.
Walking in, Dawn honestly wondered how many people she knew would be there. If Andrew and Cassie turned up, that would be utopia for her, but she wasn't counting her chickens before they hatched. For now? All she could do was hope that her outfit made her look sexy and not silly, and hope someone would come and talk to her.
Mari was carrying a tray of salad over to the buffet when a girl he'd never seen before walked in. She was so pretty, he wasn't watching where he was going and tripped with the food.
Salad spilled everywhere, with an olive rolling over and hitting the girl right in the foot.
"Ack... crap," Mari said, followed by what was undoubtedly a curse or two in Chinese.
After blinking in surprise as the olive rolled onto her foot, Dawn let out a tiny giggle at hearing the boy curse. She covered her mouth with her hand, so as not to be rude, and then walked over to him, crouched down carefully (so as to avoid any unfortunate warddrobe malfunctions!) and started to help him pick the debrs off the floor. Sure, she didn't work there or anything, but still.
She offered him a blushy smile and laughed.
"I wouldn't worry about it... I drop things so much it's almost an art-form. I'm Dawn, by the way."
