2006 Auction

Every year my church has an auction. People in the congregation donate all sorts of things -- shows, dinners, outings, a week at a vacation condo or cabin, movie nights, just about anything you can think of. There's also a silent auction with tangible items, services (like acupuncture, massage, tutoring, you name it) and goodies. Everything paid by

Do you belong to the same congregation as luscious_purple (Patti)? I think she may have been at your auction.

I'm sorry for being a whole year late answering your question! I'm in the middle of writing this year's auction post, and went back to look for last year's and realized I never replied.

I don't think so -- I don't know anyone in the congregation named Patti. Our churches apparently do have our auctions the same night every year, but she mentioned that her silent auction starts at 4, and some of the items close as early as 5 -- our doors open at 5, the silent auction doesn't start until 5:30, and the first items don't close until 7:15. So it's obviously a different church -- now I'm wondering which one she belongs to!

Do you know phoenix_glow and cz_unit, or cyanocorax? They're all in my church.
