Well, there's no law for those that have enough money! For the rest of us ... well, if you or I had done that, you know where we'd be languishing.

We actually had a much worse example of the same situation here -- look for a new entry in a few minutes.

No law to protect those without money either - so the only people who have any law at all are the poor suckers in the middle who think it's worth obeying.

It was covered pretty extensively in local news here. It all goes to show that the rich get richer and the poor get prison. It's infuriating.

Well, I would hope so ... it is local news there! It just bugs me that nobody in the entire world gives a damn about this because it happened in Canada. On the other hand, we had situation here that was similar, but actually far worse, and I don't know if it was reported beyond the local area here either. =sigh=

I was starting to write about it here, but it got long and merits its own entry, so watch for it shortly.

Vancouver isn't exactly local, but close enough I suppose. :)

Will watch for it.

It's up now.

Really, Victorians don't consider Vancouver local? The DC and Baltimore media report on each other's news as local news. Not as much as their own, of course but still quite a bit. From my perspective Vancouver is certainly local to you! ;-)
