RP thread, to Hijikata

Souji wanders around, carrying Saizo in his arms, waiting for Hijikata's return. All his hopes of returning to the Nexus with him had been dashed when Tetsu very politely (and nervously, it had to be admitted) had asked to train a little with him. Still, Tetsu's interest in continuing to fight had to be rewarded, and Souji had accepted

Hijikata tried not to look hurried, but there's a flush on his cheeks and his hairtie is coming loose. He snarls at people who try to stop him, and they soon cease to try to. His heart clenches when he sees Souji, and he takes the other's wrist. "We need to talk," he says sharply, but he doesn't look angry.

"Sure!" Souji starts heading back to his room, then stops. "Is this the kind of conversation where you don't want an irritable pig headbutting things in the background? He's not in a good mood today."

"What?" Words, Hijikata, words. "Yes," he says, sounding distracted. "Come on."

Souji lets Saizo leap to freedom. He immediately starts headbutting someone else's ankles. Souji sighs but hurries along with Hijikata until they're inside.

He laughs for a while, and when he finally finishes with a few hiccups (hey, he's out of practice), the grin's still there. "I love you," he says clearly. Three time's the charm, after all, and he wants it to be obvious how happy he is.

The grin tones down to a slow smirk, and that there is definitely his 'wanna do it?' expression. He's not rolling them over, though, suprise of surprises.

"I know." Souji's confirmed his response to the unspoken question easily enough; he's sliding Hijikata's clothes off his body. "I love you too."

Hijikata arches slowly to help Souji get his clothes off, adapting his mindset easily from 'ecstatic' to 'about to get laid'. He gently caresses Souji's face when he's near enough, and gasps when Souji's nails graze his side. The smile's not going to be gone for some time.

Excellent. Souji loves the chance to see Hijikata so happy. Once Hijikata is naked, as he ought to be, he pulls his hair down and starts slipping his own clothes off.
