[B II O G R A P H Y. & P E R S O N A L II T Y.] Biography: Kang Sora is the youngest of two older siblings -an older brother and an older sister, and was a child who often became lost in her own imagination. Though her parents both worked to shield her from a lot of dangers in the world, and still try to, Sora carries a vast curiosity about the things around her and because of her curiosity, holds an abundance of information, knowledge and insight through literature, media, second-hand accounts from other people's personal views, stories and research. Her excitement towards finally going to college and finding freedom to venture out and learn on her own accord came in a blast, yet still her parents hold a stern leash on what she can and cannot do, such as acting. Her proper foundation and childhood lessons do not leave her and keep her from becoming an out of control, or typical wild party girl -but she is also not a completely naive, gullible girl either. There are still many things she does not know how to do on her own, such as cook or clean toilets, but she is however eager to learn how to do things for herself and become a self sufficient young lady.
As a child, she'd always dreamed of becoming an actress and still carries a sparkly-eyed fascination to the drama and acting world, however when she expressed her passion and desires to study acting, it was shot down by both her mother and father. Sora instead took up Education, focusing on her love for children, knowledge and teaching others rather than her rejected dreams. Being a shy and passive person by nature ( or at least around people she is not comfortable around and accustomed to, she holds the hardest difficulty in speaking up for herself against her parents and the elders of her family, and because of her parent's rule, Sora has a difficult battle with becoming an independent person. Sora remains quite the introvert and it takes a lot of pushing for her to snap.
The caged bird does still song; quietly -when no one who opposes can see nor hear. Thus, she may be often spotted loitering the theaters and drama halls, watching acting and drama majors or stage actors in fascination and living her dreams through them. She admires those with brimming talent in dance, music, and acting, and like a wandering ghost, tiptoes around the area especially when she does not expect others to be around and notice her. Other times, she may be found alone in the empty theater or dance room to act out roles, sing or dance at late after-hours, and though Sora has given up in pursuit of her dream, she continues to actively immerse herself through watching musicals, movies and dramas, and teaching herself through youtube videos or sitting in on acting/drama classes. She isn't the best dancer nor singer, but she is a hard worker when it comes to the things she is most passionate about. The Arts.
During Sora's Freshman year, she was rushed into Sigma Kappa, easily persuaded with heart shaped cookies and a unicorn stuffed animal to join, and since then her role in the sorority is to bring warmth, and a welcoming, secure atmosphere for her sisters and any guests that enter. Of course she is still shy around the boys of DTD as she is with any other males, but once Sora is personally warmed up to others, she will easily show her more outgoing, quirky, and fun-loving self. Despite her usual appearance, Sora may be known for attacking unwanted intruders with anything she can get her hands on (broom, dust pans, pots...) and setting up traps ( ie: Home Alone ) in case of burglars, and being the sometimes clumsy girl that she may be, she, the SK sisters or other guests may end up in them instead.
With it now being her third year in college, she has became a much more mature, open-minded and understanding person who still strives for knowledge of the unknown and her freedom. It is possible that her feeling of still being comes from her strict self-restraint and loyalty to her parent's rule, but only time will tell to see when, or if she will be able to follow her heart and dreams and break the binds of a sheltered child.
Personality: Sora's personality can be summed up into one word, multi-faceted. Because she is more right-brained in her disposition, she may come off as introvert, artsy, and awkward. She is most definitely shy around males that are attractive, attracted to her and vise versa, and is very easily flustered by even the slightest gesture, however she does know when she is being lured, fooled and can pick up on underlying details with an almost motherly intuition. Though she is inexperienced with love, dating and dealing with males (before she gets to know them personally), she is very cautious and careful not to do and get caught up in things she might regret.. Spontaneous and impulsive is something Sora is -not-, but maybe a wild side is what Sora needs
Though she is generally quiet, she loves laughter, comedy, humor and gets along well with loud, silly people. She can pick up on a person's energy well and become easily influenced it;. Sora is capable of reading a situation well and can melt in tune with another person's feelings. Someone happy and excited will bring out her own excitable, cheerful self, while someone who is heartbroken and hurt will receive genuine concern and sympathy and her mood can plummet from it as well. Sora does not cry easily, however she does carry a lot of concern and empathy towards others, and though she may not be easily manipulated by selfish others, will go out of her way to help someone who genuinely wants and needs the help.
Her mood can either be even toned, high or low and though bursts of anger are rare, she can quickly hop back to her feet and find her grounding after a moment of drawing back and collecting herself. She does not like showing when she is upset, either sad or angry and will quickly deny such with a smile to not bring displeasure to another, unless of course they are a person she can lean and depend on. Other times she will cry or spend her anger to herself though displacement or self-consoling. Most often than not, she is most blissful off in her own world of imagination and alone.
All in all, she is a person with a pure heart, but is also capable of being realistic to bring her own head from the clouds when she needs to, and Sora does not consider herself more than an average girl who is trying to find her place and purpose in the world.
