Call me crass--I'll call you prudish.

Why is it that, generally speaking, muscle spams are not entirely enjoyable experiences, yet the female orgasm (sorry guys, I don't have your perspective), which is a muscle spasm, is immensely enjoyable?

Take that home.  Chew it.  It's delicious.

In a lot of ways, the male orgasm IS a muscle spasm.

I'd venture to say it's connected to dopamine in the brain somehow. Sex is a pleasurable experience, BECAUSE it keeps the species alive. This makes said muscle spasm pleasurable.

The only other thing I can think of for it is because "Creator X made it so", but that never answers anything.

Because your brain tells you that it's enjoyabe so that you'll want to do it. If sex was just painful i don't think there would be that many people here.
