When I personally put more money into Obama than any other politician in my lifetime it wasn’t because I identified so closely with him. I have said since the beginning he is far more conservative than I will ever be. Still, I happily drank the Obama Kool-Aid.

That said, with my rural Pentecostal childhood I am almost immune to Kool-Aid. There is a ( Read more... )

Defense Secretary Robert Gates has decided to allow photos of flag-draped caskets at Dover Air Force Base, Del., if the families of the fallen troops agree, the officials told The Associated Press."

These are not necessarily the same thing...

Historically fallen soldier coffins have been photographed. The banning of that was a politicized slap in the face to Fallen Heroes by Bush to limit controversy over the war.

I also really do not think anything to do with marijuana is a vital few.

My point is that we're seeing a reversal of a lot of rules and attitudes from the last eight years, or in the budget, a reversal from the last twenty eight years.
