Title: Practice makes perfect, chapter 9
Paring: Haehyuk, side Teukchul and Sibum
Rating: PG ~ NC-17 (R for this chapter because of Donghae's behaviour XD)
Summary: Donghae is one of the most popular guys in his school but his studies aren't going that well. He needs help with his the studies but all he wants to do is dance and sing. Eunhyuk on the other hand is not a popular kid and he's doing really well with his studies. What happens when the two of them suddenly have to study together?

<-- previous--

Donghae looked at the girl before him. Wasn't she the girl he promised to apologize lately when she fell in the school corridor? Those beautiful round eyes and bright smile were perfect combination on her face and the dark hair only made her look more beautiful.

But what the hell was she doing in his house? And what the hell did she mean by I've been waiting for you"?

The girl before him smiled even wider when she realized Donghae had no idea what was going on and said: "Come in. Your umma and Soo man are making dinner."

She just didn't ask me to come in to my own home?! Donghae thought but said nothing. He walked in right after Hara and kicked off his shoes. Did she call that Soo man by his first name? And didn't add -ssi or anything?! Does she know him?

Hara waited him in the living room, leaning to the back of the couch and smiled. She was really pretty in her skinny jeans and black tank top, showing her slim waist and perfect curves. If Donghae was a dog, he'd be drooling after her and wagging his tail like crazy. He needed to shake his head to get every perverted idea off of his mind. It was easy when Soo man suddenly appeared from the kitchen, cleaning his hands to a hand towel.

"Ah, you came. And you two met already." He smiled to Donghae. And it made Donghae feel...weird. That man never smiled to him like that. That man never looked that happy with Donghae around. There must be a dog buried somewhere... "Come to eat, the food's ready." And then he went back to the kitchen.

Donghae stood still when Hara was already at the door of the kitchen. She stopped and looked around to Donghae. "Aren't you coming? The food's getting cold." She smiled encouraging Donghae to move. This whole situation made Donghae really confused and without him even noticing himself, his legs were moving towards her and then behind her to the kitchen.

His mom was already sitting on the chair and Soo man sat next to her, gesturing Donghae and Hara to sit before them. Hara thanked and sat to the chair while Donghae only frowned and sat down. What the hell's going on...?

They ate in silence for a while, Donghae glaring at his mom and Soo man. He was trying to understand where this all was going but they showed nothing on their faces until Soo man put his chopsticks to the table and squeezed Donghae's mom's leg a little, getting her attention.

"So, Donghae, you're probably wondering why Hara is here." Donghae lifted his gaze from his food and looked straight to Soo man's eyes. What's his point? When Donghae didn't answer anything, Soo man kept on talking. "She's my brother's daughter. I guess you two have met at school. She goes the same school as you do."

"I've seen her." He didn't mean to sound so rude, not when Hara was right next to him, but he couldn't control himself when Soo man was in the same building with him. It was impossible!

"Good. Then I guess I can go straight to the case..." He paused and looked at Donghae's mom and then to Hara, who smiled so brightly that Donghae could see it even though he kept his eyes locked to Soo man. When he got promising smile from Donghae's mom, he spoke again. "She's going to be your future wife, Donghae."

Everything collapsed on top of Donghae. He was so shocked that he flinched and almost fell from his chair. His mouth was all open until he remembered to shut it and soon the shock was replaced with anger. He was furious.

"What the hell are you talking you old..." He didn't even manage to end his cursing when his mom stood up.

"Lee Donghae! You better to shut it right now and just act nice! How hard can it be?! You're almost 18!"

"Dear, calm down. I'm sure he will act well..." Soo man tried to calm her down but Donghae was not going to behave like they wanted. Hell no, he was not going to get married and not with Hara! He stood up so quickly that the chair he had sat crushed down.

"Who the hell do you think you are to arrange me a marriage?!" He shouted to Soo man. For the first time Soo man looked a little lost but he was soon back to his normal self.

"I'm going to be your step father and as long as you're minor, I can tell you what you will do and what you will not do. Now sit down and calm yourself." He looked at Donghae with cold look in his eyes. He wasn't going to give in easily and Donghae knew it. He would  lose to Soo man. There was no way he could win him with words or physically.

"Fuck you." Donghae hissed through his closed teeth and walked out of the room. No one even tried to stop him and he was glad they didn't. As soon as he was in his room and the door was closed, with too much power, he jumped on his bed and buried his face to the pillows. He blew all the air from his lungs, trying to calm himself a little but when he had to take breath again, the anger came again. He didn't know what to do. He was totally hopeless.

The minutes went by but Donghae didn't pay attention to the time much. He had turned to lay on his back and stared to the ceiling, not seeing anything. A light knock to the door made him lift his head from the pillows and turn to look to the door as it opened a little and he saw Hara's beautiful angel-face peeked into the room.

"Can I come in?" She asked when she found Donghae laying on his bed. The latter nodded, too surprised seeing her there after the little incidence to say anything. He pulled himself up to the sitting position as Hara closed the door and came to sit next to him, almost touching him.

"You know... I didn't come here only because they asked me to." Hara said and looked to her hands on her lap. You didn't come here or you didn't come into this whole house?  "And I thought they had told you earlier. I really didn't know they'd tell you now."

"It's not your fault." Donghae commented shortly but it seemed to make Hara a little relieved and she smiled a little, a cute smile. It took them many minutes before either of them said anything. And it was Hara who broke the silence and looked right to Donghae's eyes.

"I really like you oppa." Donghae didn't know how to react! Of course many people had told that to him but this time he literally didn't know what to do. Why was this so different situation? -Because his mom and Soo man had just told him he'd marry this girl he didn't even know! He had know what to do when he'd heard Eunhyuk's crush to him but now when Hara told him.... What the hell's wrong with me?!

"And I won't let go of you easily." She added. Donghae lifted his eyes from the floor so fast that he thought his neck would crack and looked to Hara. "I'm really happy about this marriage." She said.

You must be insane, miss! Donghae opened and closed his mouth, trying to figure out what to say. He definitely was not happy about this marriage even though Hara was beautiful and they'd probably look good together, but he just couldn't imagine himself with her. "You-you don't even know me." Oh, that was lame Donghae! "And I don't know you!"

"You will get to know me better when we spend more time together." She smiled. But the bright smile was soon wiped away as she became serious again. "And I really mean it when I say I won't let go of you. I know you're one of the most wanted guys at school but I won't give you to anyone."

Donghae was even more stunned. Is she threatening me or something? He lifted his eyebrow and was about to ask her that, the door opened and Donghae shot his gaze to the door when the ugly face of Soo man's appeared to his sight.

"Hara-ssi, you need to go home. I'll give you a ride." Soo man said to the girl sitting next to Donghae. Donghae was so angry and distracted by Soo man's appearance that he didn't even notice when she took his hand into hers and crossed their fingers.

"Yah! Learn how to knock!" Donghae shouted to the old man in anger. He didn't even bother to act nice even thought he knew Hara was next to him. But she fuckin' threatened me! That man didn't know how to lock the door of their bathroom and now he just came into Donghae's room without knocking first! That man really was a pro in pissing Donghae off.

And the old man didn't seem to be happy about Donghae's behavior. "You shut it kid." His face twisted in anger when he spit it to Donghae. The younger male in the room didn't show any other emotions but anger and reminded quiet even though he'd have loved to kick that fat ass of that old and ugly man in his room.

"Hara, let's go. You can come back tomorrow." Soo man said and turned back to Hara, ignoring Donghae once more. The anger, that had been on his face, was now all gone and he looked at her with a loving expression and a gentle smile! Oh sweet Jesus! That man's unbelievable!!! ...Ass-kisser!

"I'll be there in a moment." She smiled back to him but still giving him a look which told him to go already. When Soo man had closed the door after him, she turned back to Donghae. "I need to go now..." She said and smiled a little wickedly. She leaned closer in very seductive way, like a cat, and if she'd gone even a little more to left, Donghae's have pushed her away. But she leaned closer to his ear. "See you tomorrow at school." And she made sure to blow a little too much, making shivers go down in Donghae's back before she pulled back and got up from the bed.

She turned to look at Donghae when she opened the door. Donghae only stared at her and made sure there was no emotions on his face. But just before she went out of the room, she smirked. When Donghae realized she'd smirked, she was already gone and Donghae was alone in his room.

The whole marriage-thing is getting worse and worse in every moment!

Donghae was laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. The thoughts were totally controlling his mind as he tried to find the cause of all this.

"I really like you oppa." "She's going to be your future wife, Donghae." "I'm really happy about this marriage." 'Hey Donghae-oppa. I wish to see you soon. I hope we can meet in happy meanings and we'll become good friends ^^ -Hara' "See you tomorrow at school." "...He's just angry to me. This is only a way he wants to revenge us. Give him time and he'll be back to normal again."

Donghae jumped up. That's it! He's the reason of all this!  How didn't he realize it earlier? This all was because he had kissed Eunhyuk in front of them just to piss them off and this is how they were going to revenge him like this.

I need a drink... or maybe two. With that thought he grabbed his phone and dialect Leeteuk's number. He should always have beer or soju in his fridge because Heechul demanded it, saying that he could never know when he was in the mood of drinking.

From Donghae
To Leeteuk:    You home?

Donghae flipped his phone to the bed and laid down again, waiting for the answer. It didn't take long 'till Leeteuk answered to him.

From Leeteuk
To Donghae:  Yeah, with Chullie. Why?

From Donghae
To Leeteuk:    I'll be there in a moment. Finish yourselves whatever you were doing... -.-

It was never a good sign when Leeteuk told him that he was with Heechul. Of course he lived with Heechul so it wasn't a big surprised that he was with Heechul but when he mentioned it individually, it meant that he was with Heechul and that was something Donghae didn't want to see ever again.

Donghae got up, glanced himself from the mirror -yes, he checked himself from the mirror hanging on his wall before he went out- and rushed out of his room. Without saying anything to his mom, who was in the living room, he put on his shoes and ran out. He heard his mom yelling something to him but the door closed behind him before he even heard the first word she said.
