we're migrating the SR livejournal over to wordpress. i don't have it ready enough to post the address yet, but you are hereby warned! in the next month or so, we will move this journal. LJ is just too ad-ridden and spammy these days, and no longer the community hot-spot that it was four years ago when it made sense to blog here as a community

i am keeping my paid account; i can make an lj-useable rss feed of the new blog, when we move, and link you to it. then you "friend" it and it shows up in your f-list like everything else. will that do?

yeah, i kind of hope Mr Hill gives us a couple-few months, what with everybody acclimating to the baby and all. ;) one giant change at a time would not suck.

if i hear of anybody house-hunting, i will mention the place next to Robert's! i love that method of creating neighborhood community. :)

i planted onions from seed. i usually start them from seed in the greenhouse in february; these i direct-sowed into the soil. i usually have reasonably good luck with onions from seed, so i hope this works. these are not a big-bulb onion, but a more of a green-onion shallot we can trim through the growing season, once established.
