The idea just seemed to come out of nowhere, but I do like the idea of Suoh being behind the scenes getting his satisfaction simply from tending to Asami and gently herding him along paths he approves. Thanks for reading this. I wasn't sure anyone would. :)

awesome! one of the best Asami stories i've read! ranks in the upper half of the Asami-solo top 5 (well not solo, lol, since Suoh is there and brilliant btw - but *not* AxA) ^^
this is the stuff i need to read to re-appreciate this character i've kinda.. yeah.
and Suoh was just superb - as was the whole action & dialogs.
thx for this great read. i wish i could have creamed my pants, alas my boner was a lady's XD

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it! I never feel comfortable writing action, and I think it shows. But I was more worried about making their characters believable so I am really happy you found it to be so.

Excellent character study of both of them. I love a Suoh that's much more than meets the eye, and Asami's...hm...perceptiveness and self-awareness and ability to be brutally honest with himself is always compelling. So glad you finished this and shared.

Thanks! Suoh's a lot more interesting when he isn't given a stereotypical character. i mean, we're given nothing about him in the manga. So yeah, a big bear trying to take care of Asami and prod him along the proper path without him noticing. Though I wrote Suoh's POV for this just for my use, and he fantasizes about pushing Asami down in the back seat and fucking the arrogance right out of him. I guess he'll need to wait for another fic for that one LOL.

Haha I don't want them to have sex though. At least, not before Asami goes through all of VF with Takaba. If Takaba ever died, then I wouldn't mind so much. In fact it would be there where I'd want to write them that way. Hmmmm...
