Is the novel "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" an influence? It has a similar idea, though TBH I think your approach is better than its, and I'm not just being sycophantic.

Characterisations are spot-on and S/R relationship is just beautiful so far.

Oh, this is just so good. I agree with kalamnity about your characterizations--all nicely nuanced, like Lily's insistence Remus should move in with Sirius and her insincere apology. And the storyline--this must have taken you a lot of thought and planning.
