Saw Inglourious Basterds. After seeing this I can honestly say I don't get Tarantino.

Good things about the movie:

Christoph Waltz is absolutely fucking brilliant as a nasty SS Officer. That was probably the one redeeming thing about the whole movie.

Tarantino was smart/couragous enough to cast German actors in the roles of Germans. And they are

seems to me that brad pitt either really nails a role (fight club, kalifornia) or makes me cringe in embarrassment. think i'll pass on this one.

Yes, this one is of the "cringe in embarrassment" type. Brought into sharp relief by the sheer genius of Christoph Waltz. Wait until it's out on DVD, then you can fast-forward the really nasty, bad parts and enjoy Christopher's performance:-)

I'm on a roll watching movies. I can't remember a time when I went to the movies almost every week... LOL.

Thanks for the review of Inglorious Basterds - I wasn't sure if I wanted to see it, but after reading your thoughts, I think I'll wait to see it on video.
