Nicely poignant. I would really like to know if David told his granddad why he was estranged from him.

I'm kind of interested in what their last words were; I like to think his grandad scared the children from the attic because he'd woken to what that robe was and was ashamed of it. That he asked for him specifically to accept his partener and choices. So acceptance of the past mistakes and future lives. But it's also nice leaving it unsaid.

I like this it's moving and the ending is bright and bubbly.

Family secrets can be hard to find out. :( I'm glad they could look to the future - and the ending was adorable!
