Summary: Relationships were kind of like building blocks, Erek realized. You kept stacking the colored blocks on top of each other, and sometimes you had a good foundation and built a fantastic castle... but more often than not, some of the blocks didn’t line up, and at some point it all came crashing down.

They may not be 'his' kids, but the distinction is theoretical at best...He sounds like a true parent to me! Loved the hidden dinosaurs and the exasperation... Those buggers hurt when you step in them barefooted #_#

Wow. You crammed a lot into this snuggle. Erek sounds like an all round terrific guy who deserves lots of snuggles himself. It would be nice to revisit the chaps and kids at some point in the future.
