Not only did I enjoy this, but I learned a new word (palimpsest). What an awesome two-for-one. Lovely description and word choice. Thanks!

Thank you! It is a pretty great word, I think, although it's not exactly easy to find excuses to use it in normal conversations.

Alright, then. That's my goal for the week. I will find SOME conversation in which I can utilize "palimpsest." Even if I have to be clever enough to craft a conversation in which to coyly insert the word. Hmm. Goals...

Is it bad that I want Hector to come back and pull Hugh out of Titivillus' grasp before he gets too swept away?

To be totally honest, that actually...kind of happened to me too while I was writing it? At the end I was like but what about Hector?

Titivillus is a demon, though, so perhaps Hector will have to come save the day in the end!

Oh, thank you! This is the best kind of compliment, in my opinion. ♥

Unrelatedly, it's nice to see that there are still old-school Weiß Kreuz fans on livejournal. (Which is to say, I like your icon.)

♥!

*g* I've been using this as my default icon since... um, 2000 I think? Early 2000's anyway.

...Man I feel old. :P

Have I told you yet that I love the way you write? Because I do. :D

A very interesting take on a demon story, which is an element that has so many cliches to fall into, and you managed to avoid them all! And I really like Hector. :D

I'm glad to hear it!

Thank you! I like Hector a lot, too. I don't know if I'll ever return to these characters, but who knows? This story was supposed to have a happy ending (I mean, it felt like it did when I wrote it) but maybe there's a battle for Hugh's soul brewing here, I don't know. X)

Oh wow. I love the bits of about art in this. The fact that there's a good plot and a hot demon just makes it perfect.

Thank you! I am glad you liked it; the art stuff was fun for me, too.
