I'm glad the MC finally pulled his head out of his butt. ^_^ He is a very lucky man that Nick is still around for him, but I'm glad. Too cute, them getting together so young, and the reactions of their parents.

Hm, you didn't tag a status, but I'm not sure if this is first time or established... first time, I suppose, even if it is a bit of a do-over. ^_^

You know, the status tag was something I struggled with. We need a new tag that is a "somewhere in between" one. I know there have been several stories that didn't quite fit "established" or "first time." Hmmm...Thoughts?

Ack! I did not mean to leave this hanging all this time. Bad week was bad, but also kinda flew by.

Um... I think that would really be an Aggy question. Nothing comes to mind that would really cover any stories that didn't quite fit in the current status tags. Well, other than 'somewhere in between' or 'other,' but they don't really have a nice ring to them...

Oh, just saw the other comment 'It's complicated'. Hm...

Okay, this moment ("I'm in love with you?" / "That's the one,") was wonderful, I have to say first. I really enjoyed the way you laid out their history, how it wasn't clean and easy, and how Nick was always there for the MC, despite it all (the eight hour drive, just for a birthday! especially that), but that the MC still had that fear he wouldn't be there forever. And the bit about him using Craig as a way to light a fire under the MC, ahaha. Love these stories where longtime friends get together.

I really loved that. It's so simple and sweet and elegant. They're both so beautifully drawn. I have a feeling this is something I will come back to to read again.

This is lovely. I'm a sucker for couples who are friends from a young age and get together later on. My favorite part was the MC saying "I'm in love with you?" and Nick responding, "That's the one." I'm all melty just from that ;)
