Omg, I swear I'm not dead - I've just been pretending for a while. This was originally supposed to be for one of Lt3's challenges, but I fail and only just now managed to finish this. But I managed to finish something? Take your triumphs or whatever.

Really fantastic; I loved Jake. The beginning could maybe use a touch more context (it's hard to see how much needs to be explained when you write something because you know what happens in your head), but I'm just nitpicking, and it's honestly great just as it is. Keep up the good work.
