Guys, I almost forgot it was Sunday. It's been one of those kinds of weeks.

Also: I wrote this several weeks ago now. I have no idea where it came from. After this, it gets back to super fluff, I promise. Mostly. Kinda. My circuits class is stealing my happys. XP

Summary: Eternally surrounded by darkness, Saurine is the only light in Rilan's world.

In some ways I think it would be more frightening to have no sight of the one you love's future once it is tied to yours. Then again, would you want all the surprise gone from your life with someone or worse see the manner of their loved one's death as it approached?

Rilan isn't subscribed to his own reality tv. *grins* And he has to write the script as he goes along.

I was trying to figure out what caused these two to be placed in the dungeon. Seer and an Alchemist, forbidden magic maybe?

Quite honestly, I think I'd been watching too much Merlin and it was a "magic bad, go straight to jail" type of thing. Probably. Sometimes, I try to avoid creating too much backstory for these (otherwise, I get all caught up in things I'll never actually get around to writing). Thanks so much for commenting.

Rilan's mind = BLOWN.

I really enjoyed this! I like the little verse at the end, too (very pretty to say out loud, which I did, because I do that sort of thing :P).

My last NaNoWriMo attempt starred a blind mage. It was extremely difficult to write from his point of view, even in third person. Really makes you think about things, and it's super impressive when people pull it off (or I think so, anyway!). I'd be interested to know more about these guys' past, actually (although it may not be appropriate for a Snuggle, per se).

Wow, I am chatty today. My apologies to everyone for that XD

No apologies are ever necessary for being chatty :D

I'm glad you liked the poem. It was one of those 2am writing bits. I'm sure you know how that goes.

Also: this is the second blind character I've had and it's exceedingly frustrating describing their reactions, I've found, because so many of the expressions that we make are based on seeing them on other people. I never get tired thinking about how they might have developed expressing themselves differently.

Anyway, looks like I was feeling equally chatty. Bottom line: I'm glad you liked it :D

I hope this week was better for you. Mine was one of those where it is Sunday again before I've looked at this.

Very sweet, even in a dungeon. I love Saurine jumping in and messing up Rilan's world a bit, brilliantly. I'm glad they found one another.

Well, the week when I posted it might've been better. Now we're just back in hell XP

Glad you enjoyed them. Wasn't at all sure where they came from, but I'm glad it seems to have worked out :]
