hello,

how did you do for O's! :-) I got a 17 (quite gross because I had 3 distinctions), so at least I can make it to a JC :-)

Yay!

I didn't really do that great, got a 16 and 3 distinctions too. I don't think I'm going to JC though, because those I'm elligible for are all neighbourhood JCs... so I'm heading to poly. Yup. So which JC are you gonna go to?

I can also only qualify for neighbourhood JCs! Like, you know, the 20pointer kind can confirm get in, but the rest... cannot :p Yeah I had like A2 A1 A2 B4 B4 B4 D7 (Add Math - & my HOD says only 3 people flunked, grosszzzx right) which is a pity because I think 3 distinctions is a potential < 15 score.

:(

I'm thinking of heading to TPJC (errr for Theatre Arts, try?) which is quite gross because their net is 13 Arts 14 Science, and my net is errr 15 hahaha gross. Then (confirm can get in) SRJC (which I'm putting as a back up, I don't want to go there) and maybe for fun I'll put like errr Early Childhood Education, in case I can't get out of SRJC and into TPJC then I'll head for that :-)

Quite gross because I'd love to do something media related (read: Journalism related) but then I think most Poly courses of "media" are like, digital media. Eudora is not a drawing person, enough said. And Mass Comm is like, 10points? My R4's 13! D:

How, gross.

Haha I got 3 B4s too! Mine was an A1 A1 A2 B4 B4 B4 C5 (SS Hist). I'm glad about my 3 distinctions but it's the 16 points bit that sucks :/

You could try doing media studies and management in NYP, or media &communications in SP, or even communications &media management in TP. They're not so much about drawing and such (all the courses I listed are in business school) and they're actually quite similar to NP's mass comm (which I wanted to give a shot but I decided that with an R4 of 12 I wouldn't make it in anyway).

If you want to do journalism (I want to do journalism too but I eventually figured designing was my first passion) then why don't you just go to poly? If you take a media course you could definitely find a local uni offering a similar degree.
