Everyone is getting married!! 
Am I the only person out there who has personal goals to meet before I'm hitched and carrying a baby on my hip?

yeah alot of my friends are getting married or procreating.

its odd. we are still kids. and shouldn't your contribution to life be more than being a wife and mother? not to say that isnt a great contribution but seriously? don't people ( women) want to make their mark on this earth in other ways??

the sad thing is that they hit 40 and then reality truly sets in.

I think my real concern isn't that they marry so young, it's more that they don't seek out what their passions are and then just realize that those line up with someone else's. I feel like that's a natural and healthy way to approach any partnership.

Why would anyone in their right mind SEEK marriage or a relationship of great magnitude -just for the sake of- having a partner? You're completely doomed before it even gets off the ground.

Does that make any sense?
