Brad was practicing with little Sam. Sam will be 3 months old May 6th. He weighs about 12 pounds now, so Brad isn't as afraid lol. No really, Brad will be a natural once it's his own. He held Sam for a half an hour, and only gave him up because he had to let his mom feed him. It was very cute, as you can see!

I wrote a long post about my boring day of "nesting". No power, so no internet. Ended up rearranging cupboards in the kitchen. No one else can tell I got anything much done, because the kitchen still isn't really clean, but the dishes are done and there's no more crap on the counters, so I'm happy ( Read more... )

I got my 3D ultrasound today! This is Amy Elizabeth, or Katie Lynn, depending..

Her nose looks a little funny because she was sleeping up against the placenta the whole time. You can see it pretty clear in the one pic where she looks like her daddy.

Sam Kalody was born about an hour ago. He was 5lbs 12 oz. He's healthy and his mom is doing OK. They're keeping her 2-3 days due to the high blood pressure.

My dad's open heart surgery *double bypass* starts tomorrow at 7 or 7:30 am Eastern Time. With the stupid 3 hour time difference, that's 4 or 4:30 my time that it STARTS. I don't think it's possible for me to call before they give him any knock out drugs, if not for the switchboard operators coming in 7 or 8, then for me getting up at 3am. *sigh* ( Read more... )
