AHHH! I'm sooooooo happy that you like Elliot Smith!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that song! did u find the lyrics or just write them down as u heard them, 'cus some of the thing it's hard to understand what he's saying, but this made it make sense to me! yay! and this song can't really be applied to my life either, except for the chorus (think about a certain boy), but it's still an awesome song.
