You know, I was thinking about how they wrote this last episode of BSG. The whole issue/decision to exterminate the Cylons and the conflict was just so different. I mean, we hear about genocide in our world, but it's never thought out or planned with the intentions of truly "saving" lives. It's usually a cruel, hateful act.
I was on the side of no extermination. And of course they worked that out well by having the captured Cylons asphyxiated before the resurrection ship arrived. The original BSG would have NEVER touched this type of stuff..
