I finally paid my $2.60 fine at the Chicago Public Library and renewed my card.
First book checked out: Understanding Marijuana, a new look at the scientific evidence, by Mitch Earleywine.

I suppose the CPL would have nothing to gain if I returned the book late. I'm sure the small fine would add to the coffers.. :-)

Yes, I am late. I had the thought in my mind a long time before the book was due that I needed to return it on the 23rd. But, alas, the book is now four days late.

Oh well, At least I return the book, right? :D
