You have a very unique writing style! Which I love, it's so poetic in a way. A few comments have said this story was evocative and I wholeheartedly agree. You have this ability of (which I'm very envious of) saying a lot with so few words, even in the way you format (space out) the story. There was lots of visual imagery and reading in between the lines. Just wonderful from start to finish!!!
