it was a poor display by him, too hasty with yellow cards, but schwarzer should have done better with their goal despite the obvious foul. sometimes i wonder if FIFA has any referee selection process at all, the england-paraguay ref was shocking, just like his reputation in his native mexico.

the ref apologised after the game. but if you watch the replay schwarzer elbowed one of the japanese strikers pretty hard in the face. it coulda ended up being a penalty for them anyways.
meh we won and i didnt lose any money. im happy
