As I write this, we are having yet another thunderstorm in Cleveland. It has rained every day for the past 16 days, something that hasn't happened since 1900. David may have to sue the city to get them off their hind end. I can text you the name of my lawyer.

Oh, he has a lawyer already. One of my close friends is a lawyer and that's who's handling his Worker's Comp case for his work injury. So Wes, the lawyer, is on board for going after the city, too... but the courts can take forever and so can the city. We'd like to fix the roof NOW, and then go after the city to get a reimbursement, knowing that if it takes forever or something gets all screwed up in the process, at least David's home is no longer at risk.
