Letter to my 20-year-old self

This was inspired by a question in a forum where I participate regularly. A poster asked, "What would you tell your 20-year-old self if you had the opportunity to speak to them or write them a letter?" Here is my response

That's a tough one for me. If not for all the stuff that happened, I wouldn't be where I am today, and where I am today is a pretty good place. So current me selfishly would like to remain me & not want 20 yo me to make different choices, which may or may not turn out better long term but would very probably result in a very different life.

What would I say? "This too shall pass".

For me that's a toughie. My twenty-year-old self was at university, and telling me to stay in university, take the courses I did, and then zig when I should have zagged is not a very simple thing. There are many things I could have done differently, but they came much later in life.
