Adorable! Thank you so, so much for taking my prompt and writing this wonderful piece for it. :) I loved grumpy-but-indulgent!Dean and annoyed-but-also-indulgent!Sam, and the little girl with the band-aid, telling Dean it'll be better now that she's kissed it, was probably the cutest thing ever! The little details - like Sam's attempt to prevent ogling by picking a family beach and Dean's thoughts about the Speedo-wearing guys that inhabit them - made me grin, and the ending was all kinds of sweet and even a little bittersweet since we rarely see them laughing and smiling.
Thank you for this!! ♥ I woke up to a long, difficult day at work, and finding this to read while I drink my morning coffee absolutely made my day. :)
Awww, reading your comment made me smile. It feels good to be able to ease you into a hard day with this little piece that your prompt has inspired. Great prompt!
I like the details of a story. The Speedo part belongs all to my dear beta. XD - She has a fine sense of humor. I'd say that her humor is more loud and colorful, while mine is more subtle and subdued. I know Sam and Dean don't have much to smile/laugh about. I'd really like to see them happier. Sigh.
This is adorable, hon! The boys deserve a nice beach trip (even if Dean has a tendency to get sunburned). :) Any time they get a little downtime, I'm all for it!
