So, series 5 of Doctor Who is over with. I'm not even joking a little bit when I say it's been the best Doctor Who series of new!who. Wanna see my reasons why? ;)
This scene, or the first second encounter they have with eachother was so much fun to watch! Fron their first encounter, still one of my favourite quotes is the whole "I was in the swimming pool", "you said you were in the librabry?", "so is the swimming pool." LOL. :')
The Doctor: "Apparently we're safe, wanna know why? 'Cause she sent for back up!"
Amy: "I didn't send for back up!"
The Doctor: "I know, that was a clever line to save our lives. Ok, there, no backup!"
LOLZ :') easily amused
It did take me about half an hour, however, to notice she changed her accent from british to scottish. OH.
Gotcha. So cute! Idk, I just loved it in the last episode where he says "gotcha", echoing her words earlier. I dunno if or how it's linked in, I just liked the spark it put into my memory. SHH.
Amy:"Hey!"
The Doctor:"What?"
Amy:"Gotcha."
Yah, I like this rape scene. I know loads of people had "issues" with it, but I never saw it as anything other than Amy just being relieved they were alive, and the Doctor was kinda the one to save her, and she was getting married the next day and she was just all over the place. And let's be honest, who wouldn't? I lol'd so much with the "it's been a while?" "yes-no!". Aww Doctor :'). "It's all about you!" ... "hold that thought".
Amy: "And it made me think..."
The Doctor: "Well. Yes. Natural. I think sometimes. Well, lots of times... "
Amy: "About what I want. About who I want... You know what I mean?"
The Doctor: "Yeah! *Pause* No. "
Amy:" About who I want... "
The Doctor: "Oh, right, yeah. *Pause* No, still not getting it."
Amy: "Doctor, in a word, in one very simple word even you can understand!"
COME ON, YOU ALL STARE AT HER HAIR IN THIS SCENE. ADMIT IT. I loved this. Everytime someone opens the TARDIS' doors and sees space, and he gives the whole the-TARDIS-is-protecting-them-with-an-oxygen-bubble, ngl, if I were one of the companions I WOULD HAVE TOTALLY DONE THIS. Wouldn't you?! Just hang on for dear life and float around in space, knowing you're protected? COME ON.
The Doctor: "Now do you believe me?"
Amy: "Ok, your box. Is.. a.. spaceship! It's really really, a spaceship. *laughs* "WE ARE IN SPACE!"

Really, it's this whole episode I'm in love with. "the only thing I've seen uglier than you... is your mum!" Oh lolz. Then there's the whole Doctor-pulling-out-bigger-torch "your's is bigger than mine" "let's not go there" line. OH YOU NAUGHTY TV SHOW YOU, YOU ARE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN! yes, I am yooung child of 17. No but this scene is quite good fun. I was lulzing about at Amy's lisp with that.. what is it a sweet?! Anyway, with that in her mouth, and then the way the Doctor just tells them all to be quiet and puts his hands over their mouths. And then.. when he puts his hands on their heads and starts rolling them as he thinks... idek.
The Doctor: "Come on think brain, think think! Think!"
Amy: "If they're fish people that explains why they hate the sun-"
The Doctor: *covers Amy's mouth up with his hand* "Stop talking, brain thinking hush."
Rory: "It's the school thing I don't understand-"
The Doctor: *covers Rory's mouth up with his other hand* "Stop talking, brain thinking hush."
Guido: "I say we take the fight to them-"
The Doctor: "ah, ah!"
Guido: "I-"
The Doctor: "ah!" *no more hands left so nods at Rory. Rory covers Guido's mouth*.

And his later "ew" as the whole incest thing pops up. ELEVEN, WHY SO LULZEH?
sad is sad. But it's a pretty scene, and one of the most emotional ones. Negl, I was crying at this point. Kind of. HOW COULD THEY TAKE HIM AWAY FROM US!??! WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT!?!?! the anger. oh, calm the anger.
River:"That light. If his body's absorbed, I'll forget him. He'll never have existed. You can't let that happen!"
Ok this scene was ridiculously beautiful. Whoever did the transformation from the stars into Van Gogh's painting should be knighted. FoSho. I really loved this episode as a whole, because it simply was a classic storyline with your basic "time can not be rewritten", but it was mainly character-driven instead of plot-driven, and it made the episode better. Yes, I just turned srsbsns. Shut up.
Vincent: "Hold my hand, Doctor. Try to see what I see. We're so lucky we're still alive to see this beautiful world. Look at the sky. Its not dark and black and without character. The black is infact deep blue, and over there, lighter blue and blowing throught the blueness and the blackness the wind swirling through the air and then shining, burning bursting through the stars, can't you see how they roll their light? Everywhere we look complex magic of nature blazes before our eyes."

River:"Right then, I have questions, but number one is this. What in the name of sanity have you got on your head?"
How can you not like this scene? It was so sad and beautiful. How cute is eleven, trying to reassure her :') The quote he says about the bad and good things here is one of my faves this series. It is true that time can't be changed in this case, and Amy's hopefullness at the begining getting crushed at the end was kinda heartbreaking, negl. And why is she so pretty? What's that all about?
Amy: "If we had got married, our kids would have had very, very red hair."

Amy: "The ultimate ginge. Brighter than sunflowers."
Ok so yeah, Amy's death was like, the most beautiful scene in Doctor who history fosho. I was like HOW DID HE JUST KILL HER?! I was so shocked! I totally wasn't expecting it at all. AND RORY WAS THE ONE TO KILL HER!?!? I know characters die and whatever and the "main" ones come back at some point, but with Amy it was just toally unexpected, perhaps because she was getting to be more important than the Doctor himself in the last episodes. Well, it was for me anywho. I think is offical that Moffat owns my life tv now. I think they should just get every single tv show ever made ever and have him redo them all. Yes, I do.
I love how eleven is his own Doctor, yet still stupidly goofy. He can't always have a genious plan to get them out of danger, but on the other hand... running infront of them yelling "I'm a target!" *headdesk*. We love him, despite his flaws, right?
The Doctor: "I need to get behind it, could you draw its fire?"
Amy: "What like you did?!"
The Doctor: "You'll be fine, if you're quick. He's only got one arm. Literally. " *holds thumbs up*
This was probably, for me, the first time I was able to stand eleven. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS HORRIBLE, but beofre this episode, and this moment, I didn;t like the fact that HE'D TAKEN TEN AWAY FROM MEH! I was so angry! But then yeah this scene came out and I think I fell in love with him. Right there and then, yes. Saying all the wrong things and then some. OH LOL FOREVER. I'd watch this scene on repeat if I could. And not look like a total geek, which I probably do already.
The Doctor:"Rory! That's a relief. I thought I'd burst out of the wrong cake. Again. That reminds me, there's a girl outside in a bikini. Could someone let her in and give her a jumper? Lucy. Lovely girl. Diabetic.

Oh come on. THE lulziest scene ever fosho. At first, when the Doctor knew it was Rory and whatever I was like "OMFGSOHEKNEWALLALONGRORYWASNEVERDEADOMG!" and then when it turned out that no, it was just the Doctor being incredibly slow and thick, I just lol'd. And then he just .. pokes him. And Rory just sorta .. falls back. And then there was that really awkward conversation "so, how you been?". AND HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE THE DOCTOR'S FANGIRL SQUEE "OMFGYOU'REALIVEHOW?!"?! (see second-to-last screencap) It was so lolzeh idek..
The Doctor: "Rory, I'm not trying to be rude, but you died."
Rory: "Yeh I know, I was there."
The Doctor: "You died. And then you were erased from time. You didnt just die, you were never born at all, you never existed!"
Rory: "Erased. What does that mean?"
The Doctor: *stares open mouthed in awe at Rory* "How can you be here?!"
Rory: "I dont know, its kind of fuzzy. Well I died, and turned into a Roman, it's very distracting."
As time was runnign out towards the end of the finale I was begining to think they were gonna have Amy and Rory along in the new series and all of series 5 would have been forgotten in Amy and Rory's memory (cos let's face it, the Doctor wasn;t really going to die) BUT PRAISE JEEBUS she remembered! :') And ok so yeah. I want to see the Doctor dancing now always, forever. I may make it my screensaver. All of the innuendoes for the Doctor "dancing"... if this is what we mean then we don't have a problem kids!
Amy:"I found you, I found you in words like you knew I would. thats why you told me the story the brand new ancienct box. Oh, very clever."
Rory:"Amy, what is it?"
Amy:"Something old. Something new. Something borrowed. And something blue."
