Sign-Ups Are Now Closed.

If you've ever thought that there just wasn't enough Snape slash in the minor pairings arena, the time has come to do something about it. There should be more Snape/Neville and Snape/Bill and Snape/Shacklebolt and... well, you get the idea. So, I am pleased to announce that niuserre has kindly allowed me to take over the...

Snape Rare Slash-a-thon
for 2007

Sign-ups end: 5 February, 2007
Assignments sent: 9 February, 2007
Last chance to drop out: 1 March, 2007

Minimum length: 1000 words

What is a ficathon?
A ficathon is an exchange of stories. Everyone puts in a prompt of some kind, the moderator matches up requests and writers and sends out assignments, and everyone writes one and receives one. In this case, authors will post stories to their own LJ (or arrange other arrangements with me) and post a link in the Masterlist post that I will post on 16 March 2007.

More info about ficathons, including tips on writing your prompt.

The Rules
  1. All requests and stories must involve Severus Snape paired with another male character.
  2. You may not request Snape pairings involving Remus Lupin, Harry Potter, the Malfoys, or the Blacks.
  3. You may request pairings involving James Potter, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Karkaroff, Nott, Krum, Shacklebolt, Flitwick, Lockhart, Moody, Filch, Crouch, Arthur, Avery, Goyle, Blaise, Cedric, Seamus, any male Weasley, or any other male character not listed above.
  4. Stories should be at least 1000 words long.
  5. Stories should be complete when posted and not a work in progress. You may write multiple parts, but they must all be posted by the deadline.
  6. All stories should be spell-checked and beta-read before posting. If you need help finding a beta, please let me know and I will be happy to arrange something.
  7. Please rate your stories and warn for any dubious content.
  8. If you wish to drop out, please do so by March 1st so that someone can be found to write in your place. Otherwise it's just inconsiderate.
  9. You may request up to five pairings, but please list at least three. You may also veto three pairings that you won't write.
  10. You should provide a prompt for the author. This may be in the form of keywords, a scenario, or a plot bunny. If you wish them to include something very specific (for example, include certain words or have a specific reason for getting together), then please say so.
  11. You may request friendship fic should you wish to.
