Well, you've kept the streak of wonderful fics going. I love everything you write and this is no exception. The humor, playfulness, sweetness...it's all so perfect and so right for the characters.
Your thoughts on Jorja's return to CSI are pretty much the same as mine and I really like your take on it. It's not like we can depend on the writers to come up with a plausible explanation for "I love you, but I can't stay here...not even after Warrick was shot and you asked me to" going to "I'm married, was living in Paris, and decided I might as well come back and act as if my pesky breakdown never happened. Bring on the brutal murders!"

I also love how you incorporate little bits of real life, such as Sara's opinion of Grissom's hair being so short. lol. Oh Billy, what do you do to yourself? Though I'd still sniff his t-shirt...and that's not even a euphemism!

I think though I love GSR, I don't worry about it as much. I'm really hoping they've (TPTB) caught on to just not mentioning it... that it just fails miserably every time they try and "mess with it". For me, since they don't make the episodes in "day after day" fashion, I think there's enough space in there to pretend that she's in Paris with him in between. I do think they could easily pull off him working at UNLV for that matter (and the audience never seeing him), but again, that would be them messing with it, and they just never have done a really satisfactory job at handling the depth of the relationship.

It seems that after all the adjustments to make it exciting, they've caught on that they changed too much too fast and are hanging on to the regulars and now Jorja because the ratings are better when they do.

All that said... I love the story, as I love all your GSR jaunts, I'm so glad to see another.

Wonderful, Summer, wonderful. Gorgeously written, and fascinating. Love your incorporation of how strange WP's haircut was. I'm going to give the series some more time. I guess I'll catch episodes if I'm awake. Or Tivo them. But without WP and now without Liz Vassey, eh; I'm not so interested.
