It is good. I keep forgetting to do it, though. Or think it's too much complaining. But, sometimes, writing things out is enough to take it all off your shoulders. I feel much better now.

sorry that happened to you. I hate it when people are so back stabbing and passive aggressive - it shows a real lack of maturity and meanness. You were right not to send the next email; my experience of those types of people is that that just adds fuel to the fire. I'd maybe try talking to her in future, rather than emailing, but make sure there's other people around so she can't twist anything you say. I hope she hasn't put you off helping people in future though :-)

Ugh. I know. I went to my friend in the office next door, fully knowing she'd tell me not to send the email. And she did. In no uncertain terms. Told me it could potentially be more trouble than it's worth.

So, I let it go. And it was a lovely day and I did have my little Zune player with me. And I really, really have to force myself to give my work life a bit more balance. I literally sit there from about 7:45 to 4 without ever leaving my desk except to go to the restroom. And that
s ridiculous. We ARE given lunch and breaks. I just don't take them.

But, nah. I will continue to help folks. Most of them are nice people who really appreciate it.

Thanks for listening, Kate. I do feel loads better. Off to bed for (hopefully) dreamless sleep!
