Fun story, really enjoyed it. I think I would have enjoyed more with the backstory. Not a critique, just expressing interest in reading more from this universe. Until then I make up my own, :)

Please do! That's the best part! In all seriousness, the second installment, which I'm planning to post on AO3 will have more of an explanation on a few salient points, like how it is that Buffy was still pregnant the whole time. It just seemed like too much exposition to stuff into the last chapter at the last minute and I didn't have time to think of an elegant way to do it.

It's surprisingly happy ending, I mean it in a best way possible. And all little guest appearances - Faith, Doyle, Lily - were amazing.

Thank you! For everything. This has been a wonderful experience and I can't wait to do it next year. Next year, you guys are definitely getting that Bastille Day piece I originally threatened for this year.
